OBTAINING SIGNATURES FROM EX EMPLOYEES

Hello List,

I am assisting an home health agency with some older billing. During the billing audit for the episode not billed, there are several incomplete notes that have not been signed by the clinician. Some of these are ex employee/contractors that are refusing to come back to the agency to complete and sign these clinical notes. Can anyone tell me what they've done to resolve this problem in there agency.

  • An element of the visit is the documentation thereof. Clinicans can be reported to their State Practice Board for issues such as these.
